Mini Maker Fest

Saturday, June 12th 2021

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Watching people make things is interesting, AND it inspires others to give something new a try.

Join us for a drop-in Mini Maker Fest outside on the Library’s side lawn Saturday, June 12 from 10am to noon.  Observe and interact with Makers as they create their art/crafts. Ask questions, get inspired, and maybe find a new hobby! Do you know what arm knitting is? Watch a crafter demonstrate how to do it! The Library will also have a cross-stitcher, a wooden toy maker, a handmade card maker, a calligrapher, a knitting machine crafter, an artist from Donegal High School, a make-it/take-it activity, and more. Make 717 will have members of their creative team demonstrate cool technology, and Josh Betty and Marco Antolli will provide live music during the event.

Make717 Innovation Center is Lancaster, PA’s first makerspace at the epicenter of collaboration and innovation in Lancaster County.

Our Mini Maker Fest is being held in conjunction with Downtown Mount Joy’s Craft Fair.
