Coming Soon – Amazon Wishlist

Our community is always looking for ways to support the Library, and for that we are incredibly grateful! Soon, we’ll be introducing a brand-new way to help: our Library Amazon Wishlist! It’s a simple way to choose something you’d like to donate while knowing exactly how your gift will help the Library and the people we serve.

Amazon Wishlists allow libraries to receive donations of books, educational materials, and program supplies directly from supporters, making it easy to enhance their collections and services. Libraries can create curated lists of items they need, such as books, STEAM kits, early learning resources, movies, large print editions, and program supplies. These lists are hosted on Amazon, allowing donors to purchase items that are shipped directly to the library, eliminating the need for donors to handle shipping themselves. Donors can also request receipts for tax purposes by submitting a list of items purchased to the library.

The Amazon Wishlist will include everyday supplies, materials for children’s programs, and even non-book items that can become part of our collection for the community to borrow and enjoy. By having a list curated by us, we can handpick items that meet our specific needs, ensuring donations are useful and relevant.

Did you lose a ring in your yard and don’t want to pay to rent a metal detector? It would be great to have one in our collection for people to borrow for free. So, through the List, the Library may be able to offer common items people made need to use once but would rather not have to purchase.

Amazon wish lists provide a simple, effective way for communities to support libraries, helping them expand collections, enhance programs, and foster literacy for all ages. We’ll let you know when the Wishlist is live and ready to browse!
