1000 Books Before Kindergarten – Early Literacy Program
This early-literacy program is a family reading project for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers and is a great tool to help families prepare their little ones for later reading success.
A family reading project means that the whole family can be involved; older siblings can read to younger siblings, grandparents can read to grandchildren, even babysitters and friends can help, too! It all counts toward the goal of 1,000 books before kindergarten.
Don’t feel discouraged…it’s much easier than you think! We have information at the front desk to help you get started.
Miss Jan’s programs have been modified for the time being. Please visit the calendar page for what is being offered at the Library and what is a virtual program. Click here to visit this month’s calendar.
