Passport Acceptance Facility
On Feb 2, 2026, the United States Department of State notified “Milanof-Schock Library is no longer authorized to operate as a passport acceptance facility and must cease accepting passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State, effective February 13, 2026.” The notice went on to say, “Please be assured that this determination is not a reflection on the quality of your work or the services you have provided.”

Passport Photo Service
MSL is able to provide Passport and Immigration Photos. Cost: $15.00 for two passport photos.
There are legislative changes in the works that would allow MSL to become a Passport Acceptance Facility again. MSL appreciates the work and support of US Representative Smucker, US Senator McCormick and US Senator Fetterman for their work in getting legislatition introduced.
