GO LANCASTER! Lace up your sneakers, grab your water bottle, and Get Outdoors (GO!) in Lancaster County as part of your Summer Reading adventures!
Get Outdoors (GO), offered by WellSpan Health in partnership with the public libraries in Lancaster County, is designed to exercise both the body and the mind, as it encourages families to get outside doing activities together and checking out library books. The summer program promotes reading and physical activity through the hobby of letterboxing, in which families follow written clues to locate wooden marker posts that have been hidden in parks across Lancaster County. Beanstack is The Library’s web-based Summer Reading Program software. It allows you to track your reading minutes and activities and earn prizes! When you sign up, you are required to enter your main library. This is very important, as when you pick p your prizes at the end of Summer Reading, the Library you enter is where your prizes will be waiting.
