Dear Friends and Neighbors,
You know the story; your friendly neighborhood library began as a Girl Scout project a little more than sixty years ago. First there was a bookmobile stop, then a converted house on Main Street, and then after a successful capital campaign your library was renamed Milanof-Schock Library and relocated to Anderson Ferry Road.
The continued generosity of the community made all of this happen!
Through all those changes the library’s commitment to serving the community hasn’t changed. By supporting the library you are supporting a community resource that is ready to loan the latest book or DVD, offers programs for all ages and provides a quiet place to spend an hour or an afternoon where you are not expected to buy anything.
The library is here for you! The library is here because of you!
We’re taking steps to stretch your dollars even further by only mailing paper receipts to those who request them, and encouraging more donors to donate online to save staff time processing individual checks. To make a one-time donation to this year’s annual fund please click here.
This year we’ve also rolled out a new giving option, called Anne’s Circle. Named after Anne Milanof, who was a faithful volunteer at the library for decades, membership in Anne’s Circle continues her tradition by providing the library with reliable, stable, pledged funds that we can use to plan for ongoing expenses. You can enroll in this monthly giving program by clicking here.
Your support makes this library possible!
Please make your tax-deductible donation to Milanof-Schock Library today.
Thank YOU!
