It’s time for the annual Friends of the Library Community Yard Sale!

Do you have things to sell but no where to sell them? Are you a small business owner looking for a place to show/sell your merch (Young Living, Pampered Chef, etc)? Are you an artist or crafter? Do you make clothes or jewelry? Do you have a store on Etsy or Poshmark and need to get rid of some merchandise? Or do you just have a bunch of stuff to get rid of?

Rent a space for just $15 and sell your stuff! Space registration forms are available at the Library and must be paid in advance. If you have any questions, call the Library and leave a message for Marilyn. 717-653-1510

We are so happy to be hosting a 3rd Annual Youth Art Walk at the Library on Saturday, January 23. Drop by the Library between 10am and 3pm to enjoy the talented student artists of Donegal’s High and Junior High schools. Since the school buildings have been closed to public events for the last 10 months, these creative students have not been able to showcase their work to the community. Please stop by to support the work of these students. They will not be here in person this year, but you can comment on their work and take a few moments to enjoy the work of the Donegal students.

Families are invited to visit Santa at the Library on Saturday, November 28 between 12-2pm. Santa will be greeting children outside in a special canopy by the Library’s front door. Masks and social distancing are required. The event is sponsored by the Mount Joy Chamber of Commerce.

Rent a space at our yard sale—sponsored by the Friends of Milanof-Schock Library! A 10 x 15 space is just $15. Forms will be inside the Library at the front desk beginning April 1 or click here for printable form

1. To register, please return the registration form and your payment for the appropriate amount.
2. If you call to reserve a space, it will be held for one week until your registration form and payment are received.
3. Once payment is received, the space will be secured for you.
4. Please enter the Library Yard Sale Area from Farm View Lane, the road behind the Library. Please do not use the back drive area of the Library parking lot except to unload.
5. Each space holder will be permitted to keep one vehicle on the street parking. Vehicles are not to exceed 20 feet in length.
6. The sale of firearms or adult material is prohibited. We want our event safe and family oriented. No food or drinks may be sold by Vendors. The Friends of the Library will be selling food and drink during this event.
