The Library will be collecting brand-new socks and underwear for school-age (K-12) children-in-need who live in the Donegal School District. The Library is accepting the donations on behalf of the Donegal HUB who is working in conjunction with Rainbow’s End Youth Services (REYS Youth Center) and its “Backpacks to School” campaign. As you think about back-to-school shopping for your kids or grandchildren this month, consider throwing an extra package or two of kids socks/underwear into your shopping cart and bringing them to the Library. Donations for this community-supportive campaign will be received at the Library until Saturday, August 10 and will be given to REYS to assist local families in need of these items.
