Just like a home or business, it seems like there is always a project to do. Last month, we replaced the bulbs in the 25 “soldier” lights we have around the Library building. All the bulbs have been upgraded to soft-white LEDs (energy-saving, cost-effective, long-lasting) to provide well-lit walkways in the evening hours. Not only do these lights illuminate the walkways for visitor safety, they also add a welcoming glow to the Library’s landscape.
Also in March, we had our first extreme clog in one of our public restrooms. After our custodian failed to unclog the toilet, it had to be removed from the bathroom and taken outside. The clog culprit? A Duplo Block Lego! Yikes!!!
