So far this December, we have donated 106 items from the Giving Tree to DSAA in Mount Joy and Mount Joy Helping Hands. We will continue to receive community donations through December 22: hats, scarves, mittens/gloves, ear muffs, socks, slippers, undershirts/underwear, slippers…all new items, please; handmade outerwear appreciated! Bring items to the Library during regular open hours to help local families in need.
We are collecting new hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, socks, and underwear for kids from baby to teen. Items are being accepted until December 19 and will be delivered to Rainbows End Youth Services and the Donegal School District Homeless Teens program. Thank you for helping our youth in need this winter season.
If you are a parent with a child or children learning at home this year, please take a moment to stop by the Library for a short survey of how we may be able to help you! You can also use this link to the digital version.
Do you know what services we offer? What do you feel are the top 3 issues facing the community? Answering 10 questions will help us help you, and you can enter your name for a gift card drawing (optional).
